With the economy sliding into recession, many companies may be experiencing low employee morale. What better way to lift their
spirits than with an employee appreciation ice cream party!
Our tip this month is to contact large companies in your area and offer to bring out your ice cream cart for a Thank You Employees!
Celebration as a way to bring some smiles to their faces, improving morale and productivity.
You may want to offer a discount from your normal catering prices as a way entice them further. Remember, catering profit
margins usually average around 60%, so you should have some room for offering a “Catering Special!”
When we owned our Baskin Robbins, we did employee appreciation parties for UPS, South Carolina Electric and Gas, University of
South Carolina, Shaw Air Force Base, Carolina National Bank, Nucor Steel, Caterpillar and many more. The ice cream was usually
served as an afternoon snack or in conjunction with lunch...and there were nothing but smiles all around!
We have always found these to be great for our business and for the companies who hired us. And in today's tough economic
environment, we think you'll be surprised to find that companies may be more supportive to this idea than you may have thought.
